Dear Parents,

We need your cooperation to ensure the safety of our students during the morning when parents drop off their children and in the afternoon when they pick them up. We have observed some adults are not following the proper procedures. This gives us cause for concern. The A.M. and P.M. routines are slightly different but in both cases parents must follow the traffic pattern to guarantee students’ safety. Please follow the following procedure that has been established to make sure children do not have to cross traffic in order to enter or exit the building.
All morning drop offs by car will take place at the back of the building. Cars will come
up the drive (with the lake to the right) and bear right around the parking lot (which is located on the side of the school) until you reach the back entrance of the new wing. The bus traffic pattern will remain the same and the walkers will proceed as usual. NO STUDENT SHOULD ARRIVE BEFORE 8:45 a.m. as there is no supervision
available prior to this time.

Parents picking up students in the afternoon should follow the same entrance route for morning drop offs and wait in their vehicles at the back entrance of the new wing until your child is called (Please follow attached map for clarification). To expedite the pick up procedure, it is recommended that you write your child’s last name clearly on a piece of paper and place it in the passenger side window.
With your assistance, we can move traffic more efficiently and be sure that our children will not be placed in jeopardy while entering and leaving the building.
